A 38-year-old man was caught stealing from a business in Valetta during the cyclone alert yesterday, Thursday, February 22.
He had already placed a carton of cigarettes and eight bottles of alcoholic beverages in a bag.
He was about to leave when he was overpowered by local residents.
The suspect was placed in a police cell.
