In front of the press, this Wednesday, February 21, 2024, the Consumers' Association of Mauritius (ACIM) denounced the surge in vegetable prices observed in certain points of sale across the country.
Jayen Chellum, general secretary of ACIM, said he conducted a survey during which his team discovered that the prices of some vegetables had doubled.
