Victim of an attack on March 7: a 67-year-old man succumbs to his injuries

A resident of Plein Bois, l'Escalier, aged 67, succumbed to his injuries yesterday, May 26, after being attacked on March 7. The sixty-year-old was admitted to the intensive care unit of Jawaharlal Nehru Hospital, Rose-Belle following this attack.

Despite surgery and intensive care, the sixty-year-old fought for his life for two months and three weeks before succumbing to his injuries. The alleged attacker, a 55-year-old man, was arrested shortly after the incident and placed under arrest. For the moment, the motive for this attack remains unknown.

The accused will be brought before the courts on a provisional charge of manslaughter.
