Hello, I'm Karen and something to know about me is that I live in beautiful Cape Town, South Africa.I have been to Mauritius 15 times and are visiting again next week. I cannot wait as I have not visited the island for the past 12 years. I suspect things have changed a lot with all the development that has happened and is ongoing.I am considering and hoping to make Mauritius my forever home soon. I want to see a few properties while I am there, although it is a busy time of year. For the people on this group, that are from Mauritius originally and live in Mauritius permanently, you have a beautiful country with beautiful people. 🌺

Mauritius is indeed a beautiful place with nice people. Seems like everyone wants to live in Mauritius. The island is too small to accommodate everyone who are thinking of making Mauritius their retirement place!!!! There must be some hidden gems somewhere…..

There are 7 small stone pyramids in Mauritius on the south side on a flat plain known as Plaine Magnien. Only discovered recently, nobody is quite sure about their origins.
