This beautiful resort opened in October 2008, and has 90 one-bedroom villas, 1 Presidential Suite, 45 two-to-five-bedroom residential villas, 5 stunning Food and Beverage venues in addition to managing an off-property beach bar/restaurant, an award-winning over water Spa, 2 tennis courts and a fitness center.PurposeTo perform all maintenance and repair works for the upkeep of the hotel’s physical building appearance and assets as assigned by his superior.Job ResponsibilitiesGeneralExecutes all tasks assigned by his/her superiorsDemonstrates a high degree of standards awareness; promotes teamwork and acts as role modelAttends all scheduled training sessionsDisplays warmth, care and genuine enthusiasm when dealing with guests and internal customers; lives the Golden RuleAdheres to the hotel’s code of conduct and grooming & hygiene standardsActively participates in briefings and meetingsMaintains a clean and orderly work area and promotes a safe working environmentPerforms any other cognate duties as and when required.DepartmentalCollect work order slips from Shift Maintenance Coordinator and ensure that the work / task as described in the work order is carried out expeditiously, accordingly, skilfully and economically.On completion of the work task, completes the work order slip by providing information such as date / time, material used, as provided in the slip.Make sure all the preventive maintenance is covered according to the program.Answer all technical requests received by telephone with respect of the Four Seasons Standards.Handle work orders in a timely manner.To respond to any repair and maintenance requests with speed and with minimum disturbance.Keep all equipment in good repair by providing the day-to-day maintenance of the hotel under the direction of Engineering Management.Hand over / Take-over of shift duties.Attend briefing and meeting of engineering.All methods, materials and practices must meet and be in accordance with Four Seasons specification, national codes and standard practices.Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.Comply with all departmental compliance requirements as set forth by Human Resources.Comply with Four Seasons’ Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth in Employee Handbook.Perform masonry works from time to time.Fill in the daily communication reportSpecial RequirementsPossess skill in at least one of the following areas: painting, varnishing, carpentry, masonry or upholsteryMinimum five years’ experience of working experience in a similar position with a reputable builder contractor.Experience of one year in the hotel industry would be an advantageReading, writing and oral proficiency in French/English languagesMust be service oriented and be able to maintain Four Seasons Hotel Standard at all timesMust be willing to perform shift workCompliance PoliciesGrooming PolicyConfidentiality AgreementPolicy Against HarassmentElectronic Systems PolicyCode of Business Conduct and EthicsEmployee Handbook Acknowledgement Form
