The anticyclone to the southwest of the Mascarenes causes windy and cold weather in our region. Clouds in the trade winds will influence the local weather in the evening and overnight, indicates the weather station in its bulletin issued this Wednesday morning.

After a few passing showers early this morning mainly in the east, south and on the central plateau, the weather will be mainly fine during the day.

The maximum temperature will vary between 20 and 23 degrees Celsius on the central plateau and between 26 and 28 degrees Celsius on the coast.

There will be cloudy periods in the evening and overnight with occasional showers mainly over the southern half of the island and the central plateau.

The minimum temperature will vary between 15 and 18 degrees Celsius on the central plateau and between 20 and 22 degrees Celsius in the coastal regions.

Southeast wind 20 to 30 km/h with gusts reaching 60 km/h in some places.

Rough seas beyond the reefs with waves of around 2.5 meters. Outings on the high seas are not recommended.
